Tax Credits in Action

Since 199, AISSF has been opening doors to a brighter future for promising students from low-income familie. In the past three years alone AISSF has provided over $5,750,000 dollars in scholarships for eligible students.

AISSF's Board of Directors meets three times annually to make awards. Member schools present applications on behalf of students who have qualified for admission, met the financial needs test, and are eligible according to the criteria for receiving the tax credit funds for which they are applying.

 

AISSF awarded $2,114,719 in scholarships in 2018-2019

The AISSF board awarded 522 scholarships totaling $2,114,719 from individual, switcher, and corporate tax credit contributions received for the 2018 tax credit year. Awards were based on verified financial need.
